EATING was founded in 1999 as the focus for research and teaching interests in the Faculty of Technology around education and educational technology. A number of individuals were writing papers and performing research in this area, and more had an enthusiasm and interest in it, so the the group was formed to act as a focus for these activities and a forum for discussion.
